About GMYH

First of all, thanks for reading. I really do appreciate it. In August 2005, a friend of mine told me I should start a blog, so I did, and Give Me your Handrew was born. GMYH is essentially an outlet for me to do something productive and relatively creative outside of work. If anyone reads it, that's just icing on the cake. I love music, beer, football, and IU (and my wife and kids), so that's the kind of stuff I generally write about, but I don't limit myself. My main goal is to make you laugh.

I've seen every episode of Saved By The Bell at least twice, College Years included.

My favorite movie is The Big Lebowski.

I hate people who back into parking spots.

If you want me to dance, you better play "Steal My Sunshine" or give me a lot of booze. Better yet, do both. And then back up.

Every year, I work out regularly until about June or July, and then I just stop.  Some years, I just don't work out.  Or at least that was the case until I got a Peloton.

I listen to as much music as I can, and I listen to music as often as I can. While I love music from all genres, I am particularly fond of hair band music. Every Friday I'm at work (or working from home), I only listen to hair band music. I call it Hair Band Friday

My goal in life is to amass as much good music as possible.  I own at least five albums -- whether on vinyl, cassette tape, CD, or digitally (counting EPs and counting double albums and box sets as single albums) -- made by the following bands and artists:
