This week's holiday-themed Retro Video of the Week is "Oi To The World" by No Doubt. Originally recorded by SoCal punk band The Vandals and released as part of their 1996 Christmas album of the same name, "Oi To The World" is about gangs of different racial backgrounds living together in peace and unity. No Doubt covered the song for the 1997 holiday compilation album, A Very Special Christmas 3, and their version is relatively true to the original, but with more of a ska flair, as you might expect. The message is the same, though, and particularly timely, given the racially charged rhetoric spewed by our President-elect during the campaign and the fact that the alt-right's mouthpiece is now Trump's right-hand man: don't be dicks to each other just because of the color of someone else's skin.
