Happy April Fool's Day! I hope by now you have put a banana in your neighbor's tail pipe (literally, not figuratively), saran-wrapped your roommate's toilet, or stolen all of the N95 masks from your local hospital.
Twenty years go this Saturday, P!nk released her debut album, Can't Take Me Home. She was pretty much an instant success, establishing herself has kind of the tougher and grittier answer to the then-relatively clean Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera. The album reached #26 on the Billboard album charts and produced three Top 40 hits in the U.S., including two that reached the Top 10 -- "There You Go" (#7), "Most Girls" (#4), and "You Make Me Sick" (#33). The album has since gone double platinum in the U.S., Australia, and Canada, and platinum in the UK and New Zealand.
Given the current situation in the world, I couldn't go with any other song than "You Make Me Sick" for this week's Retro Video of the Week. Wash your hands, stay away from other people, and stop kissing strangers in the supermarket.
