Today is Tommy Lee's 55th birthday. Before he was banging Pam Anderson on video, he was the drummer Motley Crüe, so it only makes sense to go with a Motley Crüe song. I'm going to go with my favorite Crüe song, "Same Ol' Situation (S.O.S.)" off of their 1989 mega-album Dr. Feelgood. I've always loved this song, and the line "I used to call her Cindy / She changed her name to Cin" was one of those lines that immediately stuck with me, even as a 12-year-old. As an added bonus, the video was filmed at a concert in Alpine Valley, just north of the Illinois border in Wisconsin, where I saw my first concert. Granted, I saw George Michael, not Motley Crüe, but still.
