Updated Championship Week Predictions

We have our first automatic bid clinched!  And several 1- and 2-seeds went down.  Madness!  Here's what happened in yesterday's Championship Week action and what we have to look forward to today (and FYI, the "bubble" teams I refer to below are only those playing in conference tournaments):

• In the OVC championship, 2-seed Murray State pulled away from 1-seed Belmont for a 77-65 win to clinch the Racers' 17th trip to the Big Dance and second in a row.  Ja Morant is a legit star (and NBA lottery pick), so please, I beg you, don't sleep on the Racers in the NCAA Tournament.
• In the MVC semis, the top two seeds are out, both in 2-point losses. 1-seed Loyola will not be repeating as MVC champs or as a Final Four participant (sorry, Sister Jean), falling in a nail biter to 5-seed Bradley, 53-51.  In the other semi, 2-seed Drake was upset by 6-seed Northern Iowa, 60-58.  Madness!  When they play in today's title game, the Braves will be playing for their 9th NCAA Tournament appearance and first since 2006 (when they went to the Sweet 16), while the Panthers will be playing for their 9th appearance and first since 2016, when they blew a 9-point lead in the last minute to lose to Texas A&M in the second round.
• In the NEC semis, the top two seeds advanced, as 1-seed St. Francis (PA) topped LIU Brooklyn, 72-64, while 2-seed Fairleigh Dickinson squeaked by 3-seed Robert Morris, 66-62.  The Red Flash will be playing for their 2nd trip to the Big Dance and first since 1991, and the Knights will be playing for their 6th trip to the Big Dance and first since 2016 when they meet in Tuesday's championship game.
• In the second half of the MAAC quarterfinals, 6-seed Monmouth upset 3-seed Quinnipiac.  Take a poll on that!  And 5-seed Siena topped 4-seed Rider.  The semis are this evening. 
• In the SoCon quarterfinals, the top four seeds 1-seed Wofford, 2-seed UNC Greensboro, 3-seed Furman, and 5-seed ETSU advanced to today's semis.
• In the America East quarterfinals, 2-seed Stony Brook was upset by its SUNY brother Binghamton, while 1-seed Vermont, 3-seed UMBC, and 4-seed Hartford also advanced to Tuesday's semis.
• In the WCC quarters, Lorenzo Romar's 8-seed Pepperdine Waves dominated 4-seed San Francisco, 89-72.  Somewhere, Bill Russell is crying.  And rebounding.  And 7-seed San Diego crushed 3-seed BYU.  The semis are tomorrow.
• In the first half of the Summit League quarterfinals -- and there's always some crazy shit that happens in the Summit League tournament -- 8-seed Western Illinois scored a major upset over 1-seed South Dakota State, while 2-seed Omaha barely held on to beat 7-seed North Dakota.  Madness!  The second half of the quarters are tonight.
• In the first round of the CAA, 8-seed James Madison and 10-seed UNC Wilmington advanced to today's quarterfinals.
• 3 bid are up for grabs today:  Atlantic Sun, Big South, and Missouri Valley.
• No tournaments start today, but 8 tournaments have games, including 3 finals and 3 semis.
• Bubble teams that won yesterday:  Furman, Murray State, Wofford
• Bubble teams that lost yesterday:  Belmont
