Updated Championship Week Predictions: "Come Dancing"

Today's Championship Week theme song is The Kinks' Top 10 1982 hit "Come Dancing" because, folks, today the first automatic bid to the 2023 NCAA Tournament will be clinched! 

Here's what happened yesterday and what we have to look forward to:

• In the OVC semifinals, we had the first 1-seed of this year's Championship Week fall, as 5-seed Southeast Missouri State upset 1-seed Morehead State, 65-58.  In the other semi, 2-seed Tennessee Tech handled 3-seed Tennessee Martin, 78-63.  When they face off in tonight's title game, the Redhawks will be playing for their 2nd NCAA Tournament appearance and first since 2000, while the Golden Eagles will be playing for their 3rd appearance 3rd and first since 1963, where the lost to eventual national champion Loyola (IL).
• In the Big South quarterfinals, top seed UNC Asheville beat 9-seed Charleston Southern, 75-66, 2-seed Longwood was upset by 7-seed Campbell, 81-68, 3-seed Radford beat 6-seed Winthrop, 78-69, and 4-seed South Carolina Upstate overcame a five-point deficit in the last 10 seconds to beat 5-seed Gardner-Webb, 77-76, on a banked three with 0.1 seconds left, to advance to today's semis.
• In the MVC quarterfinals, top seed Bradley got a scare from 8-seed Northern Iowa, before pulling out a 72-66 win, while 2-seed Drake bounced 7-seed Murray State, 74-62, 3-seed Southern Illinois held off 6-seed Missouri State, 54-41 and 5-seed Indiana State outlasted 4-seed Belmont, 94-91, to advance to today's semifinals.
• In the Second Round of the WCC, 5-seed BYU beat 8-seed Portland, 82-71, and 6-seed San Francisco made easy work of 7-seed Pacific, 80-63, to advance to tonight's third round, which is effectively the quarterfinals.
• In the First Round of the CAA, 13-seed Monmouth -- which averaged 61 points per game going in -- destroyed 12-seed Hampton, 100-64, in our first triple-digit showing of this year's Championship Week to advance to today's second round.
• In the First Round of the SoCon, 7-seed Chattanooga dominated 10-seed VMI, 92-72, and 8-seed Mercer beat 9-seed The Citadel, 66-41, to advance to today's quarters.
• In the First Round of the Summit, 10-seed Omaha beat 7-seed Kansas City, 73-61, and 9-seed North Dakota topped 8-seed Denver, 83-68, to advance to the quarterfinals, which are split between today and tomorrow.
• Two more conference tournaments start today (America East, Big Sky), and a total of 11 conference tournaments have games today.
• Our first bid is up for grabs today (OVC), while three conference tournaments have semifinals today (Big South, MVC, NEC) and five have quarterfinals today (America East, SoCon, Summit, Sun Belt, WCC)
