Here's what happened in yesterday's Championship Week action:
Three more tournaments start today (the Horizon League, the SoCon, and the WCC), and 8 conference tournaments have games today.
Here are the tournaments starting today, the tournaments with games today, bids up for grab today, who has already clinched an automatic berth, and my predictions for the remaining conference tournaments.
- In Championship Week's first semifinals -- in the Atlantic Sun Tournament -- the top two seeds, 1-seed Florida Gulf Coast and 2-seed Lipscomb, cruised to victories. They will meet in the A-Sun final on Sunday. The Eagles (f/k/a Dunk City) will be playing for their 4th NCAA Tournament appearance and third in a row, while the grammatically challenged Bisons will be playing for their first trip to the Big Dance.
- In the second round of the Big Ten Tournament, 8-seed Maryland fell to 9-seed Wisconsin, 59-54, all but ending Maryland's hopes to make the NCAA Tournament. The Terps likely needed a deep run in the BTT to get an at-large berth, but will be relegated to the NIT for the first time since joining the Big Ten. The Badgers, on the other hand, are hoping for a couple more upsets to get to .500, and they would have to win the Big Ten Tournament to avoid missing the Big Dance for the first time since 1998. 5-seed Michigan needed overtime to beat 12-seed Iowa. Fran McCaffrey's Hawkeyes have now missed the NCAA Tournament for the second year in a row after making it three years in a row from 2014 to 2016, and they won't be playing in any postseason tournament for the first time since McCaffrey's first year in Iowa City in 2011. 7-seed Penn State managed to keep its spot on the bubble with a 65-57 win over 10-seed Northwestern. And finally, my 6-seed Hoosiers ended a pretty rough year by losing to 14-seed Rutgers, making Rutgers the first 14-seed to advance to the quarterfinals of the Big Ten Tournament. Archie Miller joins a long and distinguished list of IU head coaches whose teams shit the bed in the Big Ten Tournament. On the bright side, the previous four head coaches all went to a Final Four at some point, so there is hope. As hard as it is for me to come to grips with, IU has been truly terrible throughout the Big Ten Tournament. In 12 of the 21 years there has been a Big Ten Tournament, IU has lost their first game, and 11 times IU has been knocked out by a team with a worse seed. IU fans like to give Mike Davis a whole lotta grief, but he was the only coach we've had who had any consistent success in the Big Ten Tournament.
- In the Big South quarterfinals, top seed UNC Asheville avoided a major upset by holding off 8-seed Charleston Southern, 71-66. Same with 2-seed Radford, who beat 10-seed Longwood, 59-53. Same for 3-seed Winthrop, who beat 6-seed Gardner-Webb 72-68. 5-seed Liberty also advanced, taking down the Fighting Camels of Campbell.
- In the Patriot League quarterfinals, 1-seed Bucknell held off 8-seed Loyola (MD), 83-78, and 2-seed Colgate beat down 7-seed Lafayette. In the other two games, the lower-seeded teams won, with 6-seed Holy Cross dominating 3-seed Navy and 5-seed Boston U beating 4-seed Lehigh.
- In the second round of the OVC (which basically functions as their quarterfinals, given that the top two seeds get double-byes to the semis), 4-seed Jacksonville State -- who won the OVC Tournament last year as a 4-seed -- beat 5-seed Tennessee Tech, while 3-seed Austin Peay overcame a 14-point halftime deficit to beat 6-seed Eastern Illinois 73-66.
- In the first round of the MAAC, nothing too exciting happened, as 6-seed Fairfield, 7-seed Quinnipiac, and 9-seed St. Peter's advanced to the quarters.
- In the first round of the MVC, 7-seed Missouri State and 9-seed Northern Iowa advanced to the quarterfinals.
- Bubble teams that won yesterday: Penn State
- Bubble teams that lost yesterday: Maryland

Because I am unhealthily obsessed with college basketball in March -- to the detriment of my marriage, children, friendships, work, sleep schedule, sanity, wallet, and loyalty to Xenu -- I have not only listed out every game and my predictions, but the date, time, and TV station(s) on which the game will appear, even if it's just local, regional, or online, to the extent that information is available. Some conference tournament websites are better than others. I want this to be as comprehensive as possible, so that you can always come here to figure out when any given team is playing. I love you so much, you guys. Don't you ever forget it.
Remaining Tournaments (all times are Eastern; to the extent there are teams that have clinched seeds in tournament fields that are not completely set, I will put those in)
