Retro Video of the Week: "Breathe" by Faith Hill

In our next installment of COVID-19-related Retro Videos of the Week, I give you Faith Hill's massive crossover hit from 1999, "Breathe."  The song not only spent six weeks at #1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, but it also went to #2 on the Billboard Hot 100.  On top of that, it was the #1 song on the Billboard Year End chart for 2000, becoming only the second song that topped the year-end chart without having been #1 on the Billboard Hot 100.  Since I know you're wondering, the first was Sam the Sham and The Pharoahs' 1965 hit "Wooly Bully," which also only went to #2 on the Billboard Hot 100.  Oddly enough, a year after Faith Hill did it, Lifehouse became the third act to do it with "Hanging By a Moment" (which also peaked at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100).

But enough with the history lesson.  I sincerely hope you all heed Faith Hill's advice and can juuuust breeeeaaathhe.  And if you're out in public, please wear a mask while doing so.
