MLB Projected Playoff Teams and Seeding - Through 9/16/20

The first playoff berth has been clinched, as the Dodgers -- who are just crushing it this year -- topped the Padres to put themselves back in the playoffs for the eighth year in a row.  Their magic number to clinch the NL West is down to 6.  Elsewhere, despite a loss last night to the Twins, the White Sox's magic number for a playoff berth is down to one.  A win this afternoon or a loss my the Mariners would put the Sox in the playoffs for the first time since 2008.
