Just when I thought no one would ever be able to top Clark W. Griswold, some guy in Deerfield Township, Ohio went ahead and did it. According to a Dayton Daily News article about it, the guy is an electrical engineer, and actually set this up so people can hear the music on their radios via a low-power FM transmitter, as they watch the lights dance around to the music from the warmth and comfort of their cars. Here is the link to the actual show. If that doesn't work, try this one. Pretty impressive.
And just when I thought my rant about people from southwestern Ohio might have been a bit harsh, I've come to learn that the guy shut it down because "a car accident occurred in the midst of the traffic jam caused by the display and authorities were unable to get to the scene." Weak.
