Updated Championship Week Predictions

Friday was another fun-filled day of basketball, with one exception.  Here are the highlights:
  • My beloved Hoosiers lost to Wisconsin in the Big Ten quarterfinals by letting a guy who averages 3 points to score 30.
  • Atlantic 10 #1 seed Temple fell to UMass in the quarterfinals.
  • Big East #1 seed Syracuse fell to Cincy in the semis.
  • Big 12 #1 seed Kansas fell to Baylor in the semis.
  • WAC #1 seed Nevada fell to Louisiana Tech in the semis.
  • The Pac-12 continues its quest to get only one team in, as #2 seed Cal fell to Colorado in the semis, a day after top seed Washington lost in the quarterfinals.  The Buffaloes will face Arizona today in the title game.
  • The following teams' bubbles may have been burst with losses yesterday:  Cal, Colorado State, Dayton, Miami, Nevada, Southern Miss, St. Joseph's, Tennessee, and Texas.
We're less than 36 hours from Selection Sunday.  In the quiet words of the Virgin Mary, Oh God.  Today, there are about 14 straight hours of basketball starting at 6 a.m. Hawaiian, with 20 games total and the following 12 automatic bids up for grabs:
