Updated Big Ten Tournament Seeding Predictions and NCAA Tournament Resumes

Last night, Maryland handed Wisconsin its third loss of the season, ending the Badgers' 10-game winning streak.  This technically means that the Badgers could still fail to win the regular season Big Ten title, if they lose out and Maryland, Purdue, and/or Michigan State end win out.  They could also lose the 1-seed in the Big Ten in the unlikely event that they lose their remaining games, or if they lose 2 of their remaining 3 games and Maryland and/or Michigan State wins out.

Tonight, IU looks for its 20th win of the season and looks to end Northwestern's three-game winning streak in Evanston.  Also, Illinois and Iowa battle in Iowa City for what would be a big win for either school and, on the flip side, a tough loss for either school with respect to the NCAA Tournament bubble.

On the slate tonight:
-Indiana at Northwestern (7:00 p.m. EST, BTN)
-Illinois at Iowa (9:00 p.m. EST, BTN)

Projected Big Ten Tournament Seeding
Given my predictions and Big Ten tiebreaking rules, here is how the Big Ten Tournament seeds should fall into place:

1.  Wisconsin (15-3)
2.  Maryland (14-4)
3.  Michigan State (12-6) (MSU would have tiebreaker over Purdue, OSU, and IU based 3-1 vs. other schools, while Purdue would have 3-2 record, OSU would have 2-3 record, and IU would have 2-4 record vs. other three schools)
4.  Purdue (12-6)
5.  Ohio State (12-6)
6.  Indiana (12-6)
7.  Iowa (11-7)
8.  Illinois (9-9) (would have tiebreaker over Michigan based on better record vs. Maryland)
9.  Michigan (9-9)
10.  Minnesota (6-12)
11.  Nebraska (5-13)

NCAA Tournament Resumes for All 14 Big Ten Teams
Here is each Big Ten team's updated NCAA Tournament resume.  From top to bottom, I will list each team's RPI (based on ESPN's daily RPI), "good" wins (wins against RPI Top 50 teams or, if none, the team's best win), "bad" losses (losses against teams with an RPI of 101+ or, if none, the team's worst loss).  An * means the game was played on a neutral court, and for the "good" wins and "bad" losses, the team's current RPI is identified.  Also, I have categorized the teams by "In," "Bubble," or "Out," which is my best guess, based on what I know right now, as to whether each team is a lock for the NCAA Tournament, is on the bubble, or is out.
