A-Z CDs - Day 21

Damn double albums keeping my numbers down. The Es are not as mighty as the Ds.
175. Bob Dylan - Greatest Hits, Volume II (last listen: 2-5 years) - Released in 1971, this double album includes several previously unreleased tracks, including “When I Paint My Masterpiece,” which had also been recorded by The Band. Other songs on the album include Dylan’s original versions of “The Mighty Quinn (Quinn the Eskimo)” (covered more famously by Manfred Mann), “All Along the Watchtower” (obviously the version redone by The Jimi Hendrix Experience is a classic, so much so that Dylan now bases his performances of the song on Hendrix’s version), “If Not For You” (covered by George Harrison on his solo debut, All Things Must Pass), and “My Back Pages” (a great song, covered by The Byrds).
176. Bob Dylan & The Band - The Basement Tapes (last listen: 0-3 months) - Good double CD.
177. The Eagles - Their Greatest Hits 1971-1975 (last listen: 5+ years) - Yeah, yeah, I know, “I had a rough night, and I hate the fuckin' Eagles, man.”
178. The Eagles - Greatest Hits, Volume 2 (last listen: 5+ years)
179. Econoline Crush - The Devil You Know (last listen: never) - Another one of the CDs not worthy of the trip to Dubai. Apparently Econoline Crush is a Canadian industrial rock band. Their name does not -- as it implies -- derive from an infatuation with Ford cargo and conversion vans, although, interestingly, all of their songs revolve around said infatuation.
180. Eve 6 - Eve 6 (last listen: 2-5 years)
181. Everclear - Sparkle and Fade (last listen: 2-5 years)
182. Everclear - So Much for the Afterglow (last listen: 2-5 years) - Apparently Art Alexakis has some daddy issues.
