Now this is more like it. Beer #3 in the beer advent calendar is the first dark beer of the bunch, which I greatly appreciate. It's Around the Bend's Uncle Ebenezer, which they describe on the can as a "dark pseudo-lager." I don't know exactly what that means, but it's definitely in the vein of a schwarzbier, and I like it. It's dark and malty, and it taste like it would be the perfect beer to warm me up on a crisp Bavarian December eve. On top of that, at a reasonable 5.4% ABV, it's not too heavy. Definitely a perfect beer for late fall and winter.
