For about a year in the mid '90s, Ace of Base was ubiquitous -- the heirs-apparent to ABBA's Swedish pop throne. They even had two guys and two girls in the band, and As and Bs in the band name. Between 1993 and 1998, the band had 7 Top 40 hits in the U.S., including 4 Top 10 hits and one #1. The band's 1993 debut album, The Sign (or Happy Nation, depending on which country it was released in), has sold over 30 million copies worldwide, and it featured three Top 5 songs on the Billboard Hot 100 -- "All That She Wants" (#2), "The Sign" (#1), and "Don't Turn Around" (#4).
"All That She Wants" seemed the most appropriate, give it's chorus of "all that she wants is another baby." This one is in honor of my lovely wife, Jester, who, tomorrow, will be birthing our third child, although I can say with a fair amount of certainty that all that Jester wants is to never have another baby after this one. Love ya!
