A-Z CDs - Day 40

Were it not for an infestation of roaches, the 40th day would have been a delightful all-OutKast/Pearl Jam day.
336. OutKast - Speakerboxxx/The Love Below (last listen: 1-2 years) - A phenomenal double album. On the Speakerboxxx side (Big Boi's side), I like "I Like the Way You Move," "The Rooster," "Church," and "Last Call." On the Love Below (Andre 3000's side), I like "Roses" (probably my favorite songs off the album), "Spread," and, of course, "Hey Ya!," which I think is the best pop song written since "Brown Eyed Girl." There, I said it.
337. OutKast - Idlewild (last listen: 3 months to 1 year) - I haven't listened to this as much as I should. It's the soundtrack for the movie of the same name. Most of the songs are a combination of jazz, jump blues (think Louis Jordan), and hip hop, and dammit, it works.
338. Papa Roach - Infest (last listen: never) - Dubai apparently has enough roaches. I'm not a big fan. "Last Resort" is an okay song, but most of the album is shouting for the sake of shouting. At least Slayer had a purpose.
339. Pearl Jam - Ten (last listen: 3 months to 1 year) - I'll always remember the first time I heard "Jeremy" because, ironically, I saw the video at Jeremy "Spoke In Class Today" DeMuth's house somewhere between 5 and 6 in the morning after staying up the whole night shooting off fireworks, playing Nintendo, and watching soft core porn, or whatever it is that 8th graders did back in 1991. Obviously, the song and the album became classics. In addition to "Jeremy," "Even Flow," "Black," and "Alive" are classics. I also quite enjoy "Porch," "Release," and "Oceans."
340. Pearl Jam - Vs. (last listen: 3 months to 1 year) - "Rearviewmirror," "Elderly Woman Behind a Counter in a Small Town," "Animal," and "Daughter" are my favorites off Vs.
341. Pearl Jam - Vitalogy (last listen: 1-2 years) - "Nothingman," "Corduroy," "Last Exit," and "Better Man" are my favorites off Vitalogy.
